Running across 4th ave in the LA arts district, dodging cars, adventuring together. Wrapping their arms around the people they love so dearly and who love them with reckless abandon right back. This whirlwind day was so full of joy and energy and those immense and wonderful smiles. Jake’s nervous energy before seeing Melissa was totally transformed the minute they saw each other, and it was so telling of their connection. The long wait and difficult adaptations to get to this moment, thanks to all the pandemic delays? All. Worth. It. I am over the moon for these two newlyweds!
First things first, let’s talk about Millwick. It is such a chic-meets-industrial-meets-modern venue. So many quirky details, and so much fun being right in the heart of the city. We love both the texture and vibe of the space, but also what pur sweet couple brought to it, especially with their handmade and heartfelt elements, and particularly the culturally meaningful aspects, as Melissa is half Korean and these traditions speak such volumes.
