I’ve been leaning into delightful brand shoots, spark sessions (aka headshots), and working with makers and local entrepreneurs a lot lately, and I must say it’s bringing me so much joy. I don’t share that kinda content enough since this has been such a weddings and portraits space for so long. But I’m excited to share a little more variety. I took the week off from posting here to honestly think about what I want to share, social media sharing can be such a drag sometimes with the frustration of The Algorithm and pressure to build engagement and all that nuttiness. I wanted to refocus and make sure that regardless of who’s seeing the posts, they’re reflective of the full variety of work that I do, and above all, put a smile on my face. Hopefully they’ll also put smiles on others’ as well! If you’re a local maker, artisan, entrepreneur, mover, shaker, doer, or dreamer, I’d be jazzed to talk about working together. I’ve never done a photography hot tip but maybe this is my new thing and I’ll make more? Just did a bunch of minis where several folks expressed concerns about their chins. So while I think every chin is ABSOLUTELY FINE as it is, this hot tip is meant to help those who want to be armed with a way to make little changes that may help them feel more comfortable and confident when being photographed. As I say in the vid, I’m fine with the fact I have a lil double chin because I’m all about body neutrality (I promise that your body is just fine as it is!).
