Set in Estancia La Jolla’s enchanting garden venue, playful attorneys Stephanie & Darren tied the knot among friends and family from all over the continent. They’re big fans of disc golf and Darren and his gents in paisley kicked off the day with silliness and fun while throwing frisbees! Did those frisbees have their faces on them? You know it!
Stephanie was a vision twirling in her Haley Paige striped gown and we thought the classic navy blue off-shoulder bridesmaid dresses were a smash-hit. Especially with their white and green sophisticated yet wildly draped bouquets. Their sweet ceremony lined with bountiful white flowers in the garden kicked off with sweet guitar sounds, and was so full of laughter and tears and celebration. And don’t miss their charming reception space with garland hanging from the chandeliers, and with a nod to Stephanie’s heritage by doling out maple syrup to everyone (they’re Québecois! I was losing my mind speaking french all night!), not to mention gavels since they’re lawyers! Plus an artistic and delicious donut dessert-scape and us drooling. These two are the kind of people who laugh by throwing their heads back all the way, who took joy in every second of the day from start-to-finish, who are so wild in love while also not taking themselves too seriously. I feel so absolutely jazzed to have been present to help document the delight, the feels, and the impressively shaken tail feathers.
