There’s no better way to spend the day with the one you love than strolling around your favorite neighborhood at your favorite hangout spots. It was such a treat to join the always fun and way laid back Rachel and Kenny for an adventure in their city. I had never been to Phoenix, and admittedly had never exactly been prioritizing a visit. Turns out Phoenix is AWESOME! How did I miss this gem of a city? From vintage shops full of absolute treasure to a myriad of delicious fooderies, this town wins. It was an extra-special pleasure to have these two introduce me to its charms.

We kicked off our adventure at the darling Windsor for delightfully delicious cocktails—love their vintage tapes wall. Then we wandered to the dream that is Modern on Melrose—essentially a midcentury vintage shop meets salvage yard. Finally we headed to their adorable home to hang out with their furry friends where giggles, cuddles, and all manner of shenanigans were afoot. Kicking back with wine in the backyard and fetch with their adorable pup, I’m gonna go out on a limb and say Phoenix is for lovers. <3
