These are my people. It’s a thought I find myself having strangely frequently when photographing or even just meeting new clients. And good grief, am I ever grateful. It’d be on-trend to say I’m magically manifesting it or something, but really I think it’s more likely just a lot of years of honing what I value, and what I think matters most (in short: connection, adventure, feels, silliness, community, getting weird, and having a hell of a blast together). I’d like to think likeminded people have found their way to me because I keep reflecting these shared values out into the world through the photographs I make. Maybe they’re finding me from friends, vendors, insta, google, or reviews (I sure appreciate all of this SO much by the way!). Regardless, I find myself thankful everyday that the right people are finding themselves drawn my way. Because when I share the results of our adventures together, like this delightful wander, I feel lucky to be the one that gets to share their unique brand of weird and wonderfulness with the world.
In this case, Sam and Nathan decided to have a local wander in their cute town of Orange, CA, where vintage and retro vibes abound. We kicked off our little wander at A La Minute for ice cream and silliness, eventually wandering the main square, pit stopping in nooks and crannies everywhere, and finding light and love in brick alleyways. SO much FUN.
