A ceremony beneath towering redwoods. A giant second line parade (complete with colorful parasols) from ceremony to reception led by the epic Element Brass Band. Badass live music from The Unwieldies and Scott Pemberton Music into the wee hours. And a bride and groom that both jumped in and picked up instruments to join the bands!
Yes, it was just as awesome as it sounds. This amaze wedding day at Pema Osel Ling Retreat Center was a jaw-dropper, surrounded by redwood forest, cabins, camping, and twinkly rustic magic. But it was the utterly wild joy, emotion, and reckless abandon that these two inspired souls shared that really knocked my socks off. I loved that Megan was like, “yeah, I’ll hula hoop in my wedding dress!” I loved Dave’s tender tears… he was feeling feels even before he turned and saw his dreamy bride.
This dazzling community of musicians, creatives, and people who adore these two really brought joy and magic and immense fun. The amount of love that day was an inspiration. Still wowed by this whole weekend of magic!

The bride and groom were welcomed with an impromptu serenade while wandering through the forest. One of the perks of having insanely talented musicians as friends and guests at the wedding!

The Unwieldies ushered in guests to the ceremony spot amongst the gentle giant Redwoods.

This bride got skills! We couldn’t even contain ourselves when she jumped in with the band.

The Scott Pemberton Band brought the heat during the after party! Even the groom jumped in to sing a special song for his bride.
