The most perfect of weddings to wrap 2020 on. After this rollercoaster of a mess of a wreck of a year, these two troopers managed through multiple reschedules and replans of their wedding to ultimately put together the tiniest and most intimate private union. Despite this day deviating quite thoroughly from the original plan, ultimately, I must admit that it felt SO right. From the fab midcentury space to their darling details (how much do I adore those authentic Star Trek cufflinks?) to a little wander in the desert to cutting a cake brought in all the way from their favorite bakery in Brooklyn. Love sure looked awfully different this year. The key to 2020 was learning to adapt, and I feel fortunate to have carried that lesson into 2021 and to be sharing this darling day, now. Hang in there, my friends. It’s a whole new year.
