It’s a special honor to have been able to create a quirky and playful adventure for these two on their first wedding anniversary. Sadly, their wedding experience was compromised due to the pandemic, and they weren’t able to get the photo experience they’d dreamed of. Getting to give them a magical Little Italy urban eating and drinking wander paired with wrapping up at Balboa Park was a gift (and a laugh-and-a-half).
A particularly fab feature: not being constricted by the timing of a traditional wedding day, we had several hours, and wow, what a difference it makes to be able to have a big ol’ multi-point adventure. We were able to stop for THREE different food experiences… pizza from Landini’s Pizzeria, cocktails from Born and Raised, and churros from a cart at the park. So yeah, the way to this pair’s hearts is definitely through their bellies! These highlights are giving me joy in a big way, and I hope it does the same for you.
Sidenote: If you, perchance, did not have the greatest wedding experience, your day was compromised by something crummy (like a global pandemic), or you just didn’t have the kind of photography that matches your dreams (sadly, I have heard many stories from already-married guests at weddings that had a bad fit, experience, or settled for something sub-par)… well, know that it’s never too late to schedule a post-wedding adeventure session. Throw on your wedding outfits, and we’ll go do some of your fave things together or explore new and exciting places. It would be my total delight to help make and document some extraordinary fun, adventure, and magic together.
