For those who don’t like a big fuss, who want to eschew many traditions and let go of much formality, who want their wedding to be relaxed, mellow, and happy, like an informal dinner party where you happen to be getting married… well I salute you and then some. This day was pure happiness.
Martin Johnson House will always be a venue near and dear to my heart. There’s a beautiful carefree realness to it. It’s unfussy, comfortably, and utterly gorgeous. The view cant be beat, the house is so cute, the trees and plants just add so much charm. But when you bring in the amazing farm tables bonanza of leafy garland spotted with oranges across the tables, family-style everything, and so many good vibes, man it’s tough to beat. I think my favorite part of the day was the groom picking up his guitar and singing his new bride a heartfelt song in place of a first dance. DAMN, they gave us the feels! Beneath twinkle-lights a plenty with good food and drink being passed, this is just so what it’s all about.
