These two New Yorkers are a gift to the world, and together they make each other (and the world) better. That’s the kinda thing you notice immediately upon meeting them and witnessing their utterly adorable love. They both have a shared infectious energy, are brimming with weird and wonderful ideas, and celebrate a hit-the-road spirit. So of course, we hit the road! Everyone knows the desert is my happy place so it’s an easy sell for me to be persuaded into a road trip. I met up with them in Palm Springs and we made our way to the endlessly magical place that is Joshua Tree. Despite the threat of rain, despite the literal bumps in the road, despite the whirlwind nature of the day, this adventure sparked a joy and satisfaction in me that’s pretty tough to describe. My heart is left overfilled.
