Emily and Todd are such fun, warm and informal people, and when planning their darling San Diego garden-meets-industrial wedding, they were excited to highlight aspects of themselves. Their goal was ultimately to have a unique celebration that their guests could leave remarking on how ‘them’ it was. And they nailed it! From the lush vegetable garden oasis as a wedding ceremony backdrop, to the industrial metal and rustic wood textures at Green Acre Campus Point, the vibe was clear. It’s such a great unique space full of interesting nooks and crannies, and yes, the ceremony garden is literally where they grow their food!
The minute we arrived, the spirit of their celebration felt like a balance of their quirky personalities and styles. We loved the simple and classically elegant garland and greenery decor mixed with sophisticated table numbering, the bride’s lace patterned open back dress that echoed the garden florals, loved their decision to eschew a wedding party to keep things simple and straightforward, loved the soft neutral tones they sported to let the greenery and rustic industrial vibes really shine as setting the color palette of the day, and loved the amazing energy their guests brought to the celebration. We hope this unique day inspires many to do their wedding their own way!
