Shooting at Communal is always a joy. Not just because it’s such a chic and inspiring space, nor because their food is SO tasty, but most especially because all the fun people that hang out at Communal bring the VIBE in a big way. So much good energy here. I love storytelling with branding sessions, really capturing the energy and the style. I don’t approach brand shoots from an overly styled perspective, I try to retain the authenticity of the experience, but just elevate it to really highlight a space and its products and offerings at their best. I have so much fun food styling and merchandise-styling, but try not to allow it to feel contrived or fussy. Everything about this place needs to feel both chill and fun!
