LOVE rehearsal dinners and welcome events. In addition to being such a fun way for me to get to know your community and get you (and them) eased into being photographed, they are just so relaxed and fun and chill. But this one was definitely next-level. Truly impressive, it was as grand and festive as many weddings themselves! Multiple musicians and bands, tacos catering, and so much high-energy dance party love. I love that it was a surge of culture and heritage but also lots and lots of tacos and shots and laughter. It led perfectly into their larger more formal wedding bash and served as such a great launching pad for all their out-of-towners to get that San Diego vibe.
I particularly enjoy kicking off a rehearsal dinner with a short and sweet portrait session. It’s such a great way to get warmed up and eased into the party, and I get to capture cutie portraits of you in your more relaxed outfits before th candid party fun becomes the focus.
