Dreams, dreams, dreams. This pair of shining stars met at work (undercover secret love… swoon), he a super talented architect, and she a super talented graphic artist. Of course their wedding would be filled with inspiration and creative details in every nook and cranny. The Condor’s Nest Ranch is an absolute dream for a photographer—so much throwback rugged and unique style in every corner, brimming with old west americana treasures and intrigue. Moose heads and cowboy heart. A working small animal farm, there were alpacas, horses, donkeys, pigs, and goats beside a beautiful historic barn complete with giant vintage american flag. To balance out that classic rustic ranchy goodness, the reception area featured a tropical vibe poolside overlooking the rugged hills of California. This wedding was all kinds of yes! Scope out the full story below.

Surrounded by all the wild westerly goodness, we started the day in the rugged rolling ranch house for the ladies, with the gents in a separate vintage cabin that felt like we stepped straight into a 1950s garage. Loved all the vintage retro wedding flair and kitsch.

Suling and Ryan added so many amazing touches to their big day! First of all, we love, love, love that they brought their amazing furry cutie Trudie to feature prominently in their ceremony. They also outfitted their ceremony site with a backdrop of sweet bunting tied from palm tree to palm tree for a down-home casual ceremony with California flair. We thought it was such an amazing idea to outfit each table with vintage midcentury clocks as centerpieces. DIY touches like crocheted flowers added to the magic of the day, and many family members pitched in, including baking their amazing and delicious cake and sweets.

See what I mean about the super duper cute table decor and place settings? What a genius idea to collect these vintage clocks and then spruce them up in the sweetest way by using handcrafted crocheted flowers (more contributions from talented friends!). We just love a handmade wedding!

We adventured all over the property, exploring the old swings, the tiny cabins, and the truly epic view. They even fed the horses and goats, but more than anything, they basked in the glow of each other and their amazing day.
