Squealing. We love squealing, and this was the kinda wedding that delivers on the squeal front. Mixing historic, urban, faithful, and playful, this was an adorable day full of charming details to feast your eyes on! Lauren and Scott are such fun and silly people, you can’t help but fall in love with them immediately. Lauren’s also a talented theatre performer which meant her entourage brought it with the fabulousness. There were so many tender moments over the course of this day, involving a community that rallied majorly around these two gems. They’ve experienced hardships together, and their bond is powerful. So it was wonderful to see such a array of wildness and tears, of silly energy, and powerful moments. We started their charming day getting ready at home…

Lauren’s bridesmaids were all abuzz with happy energy, hanging out at Lauren’s and helping her get polished up. Each picked out their own navy dresses and added a little gold flair, and romantic floral bouquets added a little sweetness. We really dug all the personal items they had at home that told a story about who they are! The groomsmen were both dapper and full of silly, fun energy, just hanging out anticipating the awesome things in store.

With Lauren in her gorgeous lace mermaid gown and flowing blond curls and Scott in his classic modern striped tie, the two exchanged vows in a gothic revival church beneath an intricate wooden ceiling and stunning stained glass windows. We loved that they both separately had their dearest friends rally around them before the ceremony for a shared prayer. So much significance in those moments.

Aren’t those florals incredible? The lovely L+S Design Co slayed. After the ceremony, these two love birds headed to Luce Loft and its urban vibe with historic brick and idnustrial concrete was the perfect backdrop for DIY chalkboard signage, vintage furniture by Folklore Vintage Rentals, and a reclaimed wood backdrop behind the sweetheart table that they made themselves. Amaze! Guests mingled below twinkly string lights, partook in craft cocktails and delicious eats by Curiocity food truck before sampling cupcakes from the dessert table where the bride and groom’s cake was finished with awesome handmade robot caketoppers. We just loved their eclectic vision!

Once the tearful toasts and dinner concluded, the happy couple and their guests transformed Luce Loft from a urban warehouse into a seriously fun place! The night soon turned into a wild dance party complete with cake smashing, booty shakin’, laughter, and a grand, wild confetti exit. Such an epic night!
