Sam and Nate are an amazing and hilarious pair, and being in their presence is just a straight-up dose of good vibes. They threw an incredible and unique celebration for their union that was SO fun to be a part of. The first half of the day, they chose to locate at home at Sam’s parents’ home, the house she grew up in. There is something so tender about a backyard ceremony in a space that holds so much meaning for a couple! The level of comfort and familiarity just sets the perfect tone to gather your nearest and dearest in a laid-back way.
They have the sweetest colorful garden and it made for a sunshine-filled space for just their closest friends and family to come celebrate. Also, let’s take a quick moment to talk about Sam’s darling off-the-shoulder lace gown, paired with her badass denim jacket. We also loved the epic charcuterie giant table, the wooden lanterns and calligraphic signage that helped set a charming tone, and the sophisticated chic stationery details. Oh, and those rings!
Following the ceremony and portraits, we adventured over to a rad garage-turned-pizza-parlor for the full celebration with a larger guest list, oven-fired pizza and deliciousness for all (and a very cool industrial style). Ice cream station as dessert spot on such a hot day? Yes, please! Informal, fun, energetic, playful… this day was all kinds of good.
