These two are pretty nontraditional as you’ll soon see. Their private ceremony on the beach in Coronado included only closest family, with the Hotel Del grandly behind them and the Pacific Ocean right before them. That was followed by a gorgeous private dinner at Serea overlooking the ocean. But that was a story on a different day.
Today’s story is a whole new one. The followup celebration of their union took place later, at Martin Johnson House with their whole community. Yes, it was an absolute blast! Caro sported a spectacular mustard yellow gown by Sarah Seven—a rather nontraditional but utterly dreamy choice that kinda set the tone for the whole celebration: a little offbeat, full of joy and vibrance and feels and laughter. Surrounded by papel picado flags, rustic succulents and Mexican pottery, as well as gorgeous lounges to cozy up in and look out over the ocean, this party dazzled. The majorly magical sunset over the Pacific was the perfect way to celebrate their first dance and those paleta popsicles were the perfect surprise treat on the dance floor! With a feminist and socially conscious slant, and an all-vegan (and all-delicious) meal, Caro and Sam made just the right choices for them. A perfect message to all couples: do your wedding your way and you’ll have the very best blast!
