With lockdown life and social distancing suddenly being a huge part of our new world, tiny weddings are about to be all the rage. This fab couple was setting the trend already, early in 2020. Ben and Roanne celebrate their dating anniversary on January 29th, so they chose that special day to elope—with plans to throw a big old party with all their friends and families on the same day next year. Talk about a significant date!
They kicked off their union with a teeny ceremony under the bougainvillea arbor at the San Diego County Administration Building. Hot tip to couples interest in a courthouse union: if you want to be outdoors for your ceremony, book early and specify the outdoor location so you can book a timeslot for it, as it’s highly in-demand).
Then we were quickly off to wander through little Italy with a pitstop at the chic, weird, and wonderful Ironside for tiki cocktails and fun! Helping them celebrate their teeny tiny union absolutely filled me with sunshine and I’m so looking forward to when this craziness is all over, helping couples unite their lives at any scale, from teeny-tiny to bold and brash. Or, like Ben and Roanne—combining the two with a little union now and a huge bash later!
