Surrounded by ivy and jungley tropical magic and papel picado flags and so many joyful people, this day was a dream of a day. Christina and Carlos are just so in love, and it made my heart so full of happy to be a part of this celebration. Their day started adorably with each of them getting ready in their parents’ homes, and so getting to see those bits of their history… the old photographs on the mantel, the bits from childhood… it was a treat to dig into their past and see how it led to this future. I loved the ladies’ sassy pre-wedding outfits (not to mention their actual wedding outfits—floral heels FTW!), and I loved how much tenderness was exchanged between everyone on this day. And how amazing was it that we pitstopped for ice cream after the ceremony? Basically, these two are a dream team and so full of silly energy, that to get to tell the story of that was like an all-day adrenaline rush. There were so many charming and meaningful elements of their day, TWO live muic groups—mariachis and a swing orchestra—and even a surprise flash mob dance performance. So much love for these lovelies and the people that helped to make their day so special!
