When two bright shining stars get hitched, what else can you expect except for pure magic. Glittering genuine magic. Both Chris and Michelle are creatives from the industry and left no detail overlooked, no special touch ignored. Michelle’s graphic design skills were super flaunted at this love-filled shindig at SmogShoppe in Los Angeles, an amazing former garage-turned-inspired space.

The day began at the W Hotel with the bridal party belting out the words to “Frozen,” and where each of them got spiffed up, she in a glittery golden gown by BHLDN (I totally fell head-over-heels in love with this dress, so when you see all the photos of it below, you will know it couldn’t be helped!) and he in a sharp suit that barely hinted at his rad full-sleeve ink. Their first look just floored me. He cried, and looked at her again and cried some more. One of the very most tender, joyful moments. The darling ceremony was a beautiful mix of the traditional and the modern among the succulents and beneath a chuppah created from Michelle’s grandmother’s vintage lace. Sentimental touches made this day oh-so special; she wore her grandmother’s bracelet, he wore his grandfather’s tie pin, and their precious vows ended with “thank you for marrying me.” Yeah, I totally got teary-eyed! From street tacos to a fierce dance party and a full-on fab tattoo shop (Don’t worry moms, they were temporary!) to high fives and giggles galore, this wedding was a dreamy day that makes for one sparkly story to tell.
