Eriko and Pat are as fun as they are clever. PHD candidates who are accustomed to living on either side of the world while doing their studies, they figured, why not throw a wedding into that crazy mix? Somehow they made planning a wedding look effortless and perfectly lovely. They chose the Culver Hotel as Eriko had one done drinks there after work and fallen in love with the space. And turning standards on their head, they decided to make it a morning ceremony and a wedding luncheon. So sweet and mellow!
Eriko looked gorgeously classic in and her blush bouquet with subtle pops of cheerful yellow kinda made our day a little extra-bright. Her playful bridemaids (one of whom came all the way from Japan!) were fresh in mix-and-match ivory dresses. Pat sure dappered up in his tailored tux, and I loved all his groomsmen’s silly antics on our adventures around the neighborhood. After a tender and quick ceremony in the regal and historic Culver Hotel, guests enjoyed the charm of the space while, Eriko and her dance teacher performed a perfect tango in front of family and friends to kick off the reception. Then toasts, dancing, and fun abounded. So much glam fun. We fell in love with the space and would love to shoot another Culver Hotel wedding!
Just a note that I love couples who are willing to trek to an adventurous place for moments like these. :)
