Moody magic. Thats what awaited everyone at this tender, dreamy day full of love and loveliness. Even the rains couldn’t get these guys down. After a bit of a frantic frenzy due to some challenging last-minute hardships, sweet Jaime and Jared contacted me the same month of their wedding to collaborate on their adorable plans. Despite the last-minute stress, these two were cool as cucumbers on their big day—just full of anticipation and excitement. The sweet Victorian setting of the Heritage Museum was the perfect backdrop for their vintage nuptials. This historic venue brims with vintage charms—lace curtains, wooden rocking chairs, old photographs, and all those things that just warm the very cockles of my heart!
Jaime and her sweet bridesmaids giggled together as they got ready. She was a dream in a lace gown, her Beloved tattoo framed perfectly on her back. We loved their choice of burgundy for their wedding color—and check out her fab shoes! Jared looked particularly debonair in a three-piece suit and the scarlet bow tie was such a sweet touch (note their ring-bearer’s sweet bowtie and suspenders, too!). These two exchanged first glances in a dreamy overgrown orange grove, while guests were ushered via the homemade DIY rustic wooden signage to the quaint wooden gazebo. Through tearful heartfelt vows and a rope tying ceremony Jaime & Jared became husband and wife with friends and family looking on, while the rains held out for this very lovely moment.
The reception teemed with rugged rustic touches, succulent centerpieces, rustic wooden signage, bird cages and candle tablescapes, and bunting banners. Cotton line and clothes-pinned seating cards and a fully outfitted sweets table beckoned for partaking. Before long the dance floor was hoppin’ despite the rains in the cracks of the tent as nighttime fell, all of the day’s details told a tale of tender love and the beautiful family these two will build. These two are so sweetly in love—so deeply devoted to one another and their families, and I was so overjoyed to be able to tell their darling story.
